Our founder started as a foster parent with Cause4paws in Virginia in 2010. In 2013 she moved to P.A. to be closer to her father. On finding there were few rescue groups in the area and finding a great number of cats and kittens in need, she established Cause4paws Tioga in the state of P.A as a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization and began the process of seeking donations and supplies. It has worked out much better than initially anticipated, but due to the huge number of stray cats and kittens out there we still have a long way to go. Foster parents, donations, and supplies are always in need.
